Table for Six

What this is, and what it is not.

Written plainly, because a page nobody can read protects nobody. Last changed 28 August 2026.

The point

Six strangers, ninety minutes, one topic

You book a seat at a table, turn up at its hour, and talk. That is the whole service. It is not a dating platform, not a professional network, and not somewhere to sell anything.

Who can sit

Adults only

You must be 18 or over. There is no way for us to verify that, which is precisely why it is stated here and why nothing on this platform is suitable for children.

The rules

The same six shown before every sitting

  1. 1 No surnames, addresses, phone numbers, socials or links. The table will not carry them.
  2. 2 No money. Not lending, not investing, not selling, not "helping".
  3. 3 No photos of yourself or anyone else. There is nowhere to put one.
  4. 4 Stay on the table's topic. It is what everyone came for.
  5. 5 If someone makes the table worse, block them. You never have to explain.
  6. 6 Nobody here can read minds — including us.

Break them and the people at your table can vote you out of that sitting. Do it repeatedly, in front of different groups, and your account is paused while a human reads what happened.

The honest part

We verify nobody

No identity checks, no background checks, no vetting of any kind. Somebody who is pleasant for ninety minutes has proved they can be pleasant for ninety minutes and nothing more.

Be careful with anyone who wants your phone number, your socials, your money, your address, or a private conversation away from the table. That request is the pattern, whatever reason is attached to it.

Meeting

If you arrange to meet, that is between you

People are free to arrange it. It happens off this platform — nothing here stores addresses, schedules a venue, or knows about it. We are not a party to it and cannot be responsible for what happens.

If you choose to, treat it exactly as meeting any stranger from the internet: somewhere public, in daylight, with somebody who knows where you are.

What we owe you

Not very much, and we would rather say so

This is run by one person. Tables may not run, the site may be down, and a sitting you booked may be cancelled if fewer than three people book it — that last one is deliberate, because two people is not a table.

The service is provided as it is, with no warranty. Nothing is charged for, so nothing is owed back.

Ending it

Either of us may stop

You can close your account whenever you like, from your page, and your name is removed from everything.

We may pause an account that is making tables worse for other people. That decision is made by a human reading a transcript, not by a machine.
